Rounding Off 2023

2023 has been an eventful year for Crystal Earthworks. Jennifer and I have completed some key areas of crystal planting work both here in Orkney and in Somerset. New planting projects have been launched, and  it feels such a gift to now have an online platform to sell programmed crystals for both personal and planetary healing in the form of Starlight Crystals. It’s also been lovely to experience increased interest in the project.

With all that’s happening across the globe at this time, our meditation work focusing on Peace and various aspects of Earth healing continues to feel key and the crystal planting work in all its myriad of forms more important than ever. 

I’ll be continuing our 'Getting Started’ posts in the New Year as well as outlining more ways to get involved if you are drawn to working with crystals and Earth Healing. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the project this year through donations, opportunities to share the work, and of course through planting crystals and connecting to the meditations.

We will marking the beginning of 2024 with a special meditation through midday GMT, 1st January, and full details of this will be posted first thing tomorrow.

Amethyst and Wellbeing

In the second of our posts in connection with COP28, we look to the role of amethyst in healing our beautiful planet and maintaining our own health and well being, both of which are in inextricably linked.

I have already talked of the negative energy soup we are all living in through our mass production of electromagnetic energies and their harmful effect. However the toxic effects of landfill and rubbish holding facilities also greatly adds to this. Wearing or carrying a piece of amethyst programmed to protect against negative environmental energies and/ or placing similarly programmed amethyst to the rooms of our children or adults open to crystal healing but reluctant to wear or carry crystals, can greatly improve our overall health. Amethyst used in these ways helps to form a protective energy sheath around the physical body and energy field.

Our personal and collective production of huge amounts of rubbish also has a huge impact on our personal and planetary health. Looking to reuse, recycle and reduce what we throw away on an everyday basis is key. Once we are doing this, we can then use amethyst to crystal grid the rubbish/recycling areas in our homes, place protective circuits around our houses and gardens, and look to crystal planting our local landfill sites.

Pyrite and Wellbeing

One of the greatest crystal gifts we can bless to both ourselves, and our beautiful Earth Mother, at this time is to begin, or continue to use appropriately programmed pyrite with our mobile and cordless phones, computers, microwaves, routers, smart meters, and other electronic items, and to plant any telecommunications masts, substations and pylons in our local area with programmed pyrite. Pyrite used in these ways absorbs, transmutes and helps to re-positise the vast swathes of manmade electromagnetic energies currently swamping our planet.  These energies, unchecked, are having a profound effect on both our personal and planetary health and wellbeing.

Where To Start

As COP28 enters its second week it felt important to begin to share some of the simple, inexpensive, yet powerful steps, we can each take, using crystals in our local environments to support planetary healing.

I’m often asked by those new to the work and sometimes by those who use crystals regularly yet are feeling overwhelmed by the myriad of possibilities ‘Where do I start?’.

Four key crystals and starting points are:

PYRITE

Begin to use programmed pyrite with any regularly used electrical items in your home or workplace to absorb and negate the negative effects of EMF’s produced each time we use these items.  In particular mobile phones, computers/ tablets, routers, microwaves, electric kettles.

Plant any mobiles phone masts, pylons or substations in your area with programmed pyrite chunks to absorb, redirect and negate the negative effects of the electromagnetic radiation they produce.

AMETHYST

Wear, use, or carry, daily, programmed amethyst to protect against negative environmental energies and use amethyst to crystal grid your home and work place to form a protective shield of energy.

Crystal grid your local landfill with programmed amethyst chunks to contain its negative energy and begin to transmute it earthwards.

MALACHITE 

Use programmed malachite singularly, or in sets of four to grid any food growing areas you own or use to enhance the soil and thus the energy and nutritional value of the food produced. This is applicable to anything from a few pots on a balcony, to a polytunnel/polycrub or a community garden.

Wear and/or use rose quartz in your home, workplace and wider environment to promote peace and heart connection.

Thank You!

Thank you to everyone who connected in for our meditation on Thursday in connection with COP28, and for your kind messages of gratitude.  

Planting work with this particular set of crystals (without the angel aura) began in 2021, when a dedicated crystal planter in Cornwall asked if there was anything they could place in connection with the G7 summit taking place there. Their wish was to support both Earth centred decision making during the summit and the restoration of ancient woodland and wildlife lost in development work undertaken for the forthcoming event.

We had already been using this beautiful crystal configuration as part of our Earth healing meditation work and it felt to be the perfect set of crystals to use for this purpose. Four sets have now been planted in total to high energy centres across the UK, in Orkney, Cornwall, Glasgow (in connection with COP26) and  Glastonbury, and this configuration is regularly included in our bi-weekly planetary healing meditations. 

The sets are comprised of a Pure Grace Heart,  moonstone, pietersite, labradorite and mookaite. The moonstone brings greater emotional balance, the pietersite helps to dispel illusion, the labradorite strengthens immunity and the mookiate blesses all with nurturance. These crystals combined with a Pure Grace Heart for purity, flow and connection to Divine Feminine energies and specially programmed to nurture, strengthen and realign the Earth and all her lifeforms, make a powerful healing combination. More recently eight angel aura, to enhance angelic connection, have also been added to our meditations with these crystals, which serve to bring healing to the Earth as a whole and also empower the crystal sets already planted.

With the Earth at a tipping point in terms of climate change and the beginning of COP28 today, where many of us are hoping bold decisions will be made, we take a shift of focus in our work over the coming two weeks.  Placing the Earth’s wellbeing at the centre of our lives and the decisions we make at individual, community and collective levels is key for the wellbeing of all at this time, and we will be sharing in the coming days how crystal planting and meditation work can contribute to responsible custodianship of our beautiful Earth Mother.

Rose Heart of Light Planting

I placed a further Rose Heart of Light this morning, 29/11/23, to an area of gorse in my local community. I’ve walked past this site many times yet it was only the other day that I was drawn to notice the intricacies and complexity of this microhabitat and that some of the bushes had been damaged and were dying back in places. Situated on the edge of a small group of houses, farmland and wilder habitat, this specially programmed crystal will radiate out gentle peace and healing to all in its wake, the land, animals both wild and domesticated, plant life including the damaged gorse, and those inhabiting the area. 

These beautiful crystals also act as an anchor of Light into the physical body of the Earth and are part of an ever growing matrix of peace, healing and planetary Light connection being imbued to the Earth as they continue to be planted across the globe.

Grief Patterns and Full Moon in Gemini

With the unexpected passing of a dear friend, mentor, teacher and former colleague in recent days I have been reminded of the overwhelm of emotion and strange nuances of energy grief can bring to us, both as individuals and at a collective level. As we are also blessed with a full moon in Gemini today those emotions may well be heightened even further for many. 

There will therefore be a special meditation through 3pm GMT today, 27/11/23 using this beautiful garnierite (green moonstone) heart programmed :

‘To bring greater harmony, balance and nurturance to the Earth and her inhabitants.’

At a personal level this beautiful crystal, sometimes known as ‘The stone of the Goddess’ helps to settle emotional hurt and heal the heart, as well as connecting deeper into divine feminine empowerment. On a planetary level it enables us to let go of old patterning and tune into, and co-create, all that is required for a sustainable future for all, to garnish our lives with all attuned to heart led flow.

Tree Healing

We recently had to do some trimming of branches to trees in our  garden which were overhanging paths and one of our neighbours buildings. I always find this a difficult, although sometimes necessary, process but it felt lovely to be able to offer healing back to the trees in question by planting rose quartz to their bases. The crystals were asked to veil peace and healing to the trees to which they were placed and for them to know that they are loved and respected.

In yet more beautiful weather here in Orkney, I placed this jewel like rose aura to a stone seat overlooking the Hoy Hills, Scapa Flow and out into the Atlantic. This is a special place and it felt wonderful to be able to enhance its energy further and touch all who come here with greater heart connection.

Healing The Witch Wound

The first of our beautiful crystal sets to bring Earth healing and release to the sites of passing of those accused of witchcraft was planted on the 8/11/23 at Gallow Ha, Kirkwall, Orkney. The crystals were ignited at eleven minutes to eleven and the work completed at 11.22am with the planting of a further healing crystal to the grounds of St Magnus Cathedral, Kirkwall, adjacent to the inner cell where those accused of witchcraft were held. I then lit a candle in the cathedral to ignite this body of work. 

This was a very moving crystal planting experience and as I outlined in the Samhain posting last week the beginning of healing work with far reaching potential at both personal and collective levels. I'll be sharing more in depth experiences of how this work came into being and of this first planting in the coming weeks.

Rose Aura Planting

I had the gift of planting this beautiful gem like rose aura crystal to the top of Costa Hill on the West mainland of Orkney at the weekend on yet another day of stunning weather here in the far North of Scotland.

Programmed to enhance heart connection to the Earth and all within their wake, these crystals are part of our global aura planting work, more details of which can be found in the pages section of this blog. This was our first time on this prominent hilltop, and further visits are planned to action other crystal plantings.

Cora our beautiful golden retriever came along too and decided to sit on the exact site of planting after the crystal had been ignited.  Animals are very energy sensitive and she clearly knew she was onto a good thing!

Strengthening the mineral body of the Earth

Making the most of still, sunny weather in between the storms, this week, I planted a further calcite to the elemental rocky outcrops of Orkney's West Mainland. These crystals are programmed to strengthen the mineral body of the Earth and serve to anchor Light energy into the physical body of the Earth to this purpose. We are blessed, here in the far North with many suitable places of planting for these crystals and as I action more of this body of work, it's fascinating how the form of each of the crystals chosen for a particular site seem to mirror the place of planting. The rocks at this particular site near Marwick, are very layered and slab like, as was the chunk of calcite planted.

Samhain 2023

We feel blessed to mark Samhain 2023 with the launch of a new body of crystal planting work to heal the sites of passing of those accused of witchcraft across Europe and beyond. This work first came to me a number of years ago with the publication by Edinburgh University, in October 2019, of an interactive map of accused witches residences and trials across Scotland. However, the journey to get to the point of fruition of the planting work has taken some four years to accomplish, and  I'll be sharing more of my own healing journey in reaching the point of the launch of this work later in the week. 

Many of those accused were simply 'wise women’, for that is the true meaning of the term ‘witch’, and were the healers and holistic practitioners of their time. Sadly many suffered unimaginably painful and cruel deaths at the hands of their persecutors all of which leaves an energy imprint of great suffering into the very earth at the sites of these tragedies.

We will be using sets of rose quartz and selenite, specially programmed to release not only the energy imprints to the land of such sites but also any energies of soul holding to these places of passing. For when death of a soul aspect is traumatic in any way it can lead to energy entrapment to the physical realms which, without help, can take many cycles of life to release. These plantings will not only free and heal the earth energy to these sites and the soul aspects connected to them but also the ancestral lines of all those involved. 

I hope to action the first of these plantings, here in Orkney, later this week. For these sites, many of which are to urban areas and often paved or difficult to plant around, we will be using rose quartz hearts and selenite pieces, the latter respectfully crushed to form a crystal dust that can then be scattered. Each planting will be recorded.

If you feel drawn to contribute to this work in your own area, for there are many such sites, we will have sets of the programmed crystals with accompanying leaflets to guide the planting work available in the coming weeks.

This is a powerful body of healing work to come, to clear a core pattern of misunderstanding and abuse of the healing powers of Divine Feminine energy expressed in the physical across many lands.

Global Peace Meditations

With the continued unfolding situation in the Middle East, the ongoing war in Ukraine, and their wider reverberations around the world, both our regular planetary healing meditations this week focus once again on Global Peace. 

These meditations will continue to use the heart shaped rose quartz chunk shown below, programmed: 

'To send peace, healing and heart connection to the Earth and her inhabitants.’

This will be our focus through 8pm GMT, tonight Tuesday 31st of October and Thursday 2nd of November. Please feel welcome to join us for one or both of these meditations.

To connect in simply sit in peace, in a quiet place, through either or both of the allotted times. Let go of all your own worries and concerns, and then use the words and image of the crystal as a positive focus in meditation, positive thought, or prayer. The crystal will be ignited for twenty minutes from 7.50pm to 8.10pm GMT, on each of the evenings and can be tuned into for all or part of that time.
