Planting for Peace

Peace is perhaps the greatest gift we can bestow on ourselves, each other and our beautiful planet, as we move through the increasing challenges and turbulence of 21st century life. Rose quartz is the key crystal in supporting us to find greater peace in our lives. This beautiful pink stone comes in many shapes and forms and is suitable for anyone to use because of its gentle healing nature.

As with all healing and positive transformation, action begins with ourselves, for if we cannot find greater peace in our own lives, how can we begin to share that with others? 

It can be easy to lose heart and become caught up in stress and worry in the current difficulties we all face. However carrying or wearing a small tumbled piece of programmed rose quartz can support us through challenging times, and help us to retain a sense of wellbeing and positivity at an emotional level. To programme such a crystal, simply hold the crystal in your right palm and ask that it veils you with  peace, healing and heart connection, then place to a jewellery cage or if it is to be carried in a silk or natural fibre pouch to protect its energy and so it can be easily pinned to clothing or placed in a clutter free pocket. Cleanse it regularly.

To enhance peace in ourselves and others, a fist sized chunk of rose quartz can be placed centrally to the home or work place. To programme, hold it in your right palm or if it is too large for this on your left palm with your right hand over and ask that it veil all within its wake with peace, harmony and wellbeing. Place it in a clutter free space, on a chest, table or similar. Cleanse weekly.

Moving outside rose quartz can be placed on top of a simple stone cairn, programmed  to veil  your home / garden / neighbourhood / community with peace, healing and positive energy flow. Further details of this way of working are given on the 'Crystal Cairn' page of this blog.

Alternatively a chunk of rose quartz can be programmed to veil peace, healing and positive energy flow to its place of planting and all within its wake. You can then plant it centrally to a garden space, to the rear of a favourite sitting place or bench, or out in the wider environment, for example to a place you regularly visit or a favourite beauty spot. When planting in this way always place the crystal where it won't be disturbed either by digging a hole for it and covering it with earth, placing under a pile of stones or placing to flowing water for example in a stream, water feature or similar.

To bring peace on a larger scale we need to look at how best to heal negative energy imprints held to the very earth we live and walk on. Every action and step we take imprints energy into the earth, either positive or negative. In places with a chequered history such as a battlefield, site of terrorist attack, massacre or similar loss of life and destruction, the negative imprint of energy will affect all in its wake, creating an energy sink in which nothing can flow with the vibrancy of its pure state and further negative events, or actions are often attracted.

Such sites can be planted in a variety of ways and may well require multiple plantings to remove layers of negative energy imprints. However the 'Peace Configuration' which uses four fist sized rose quartz crystals, planted to the exterior corners of such a site is often the key starting point and can be used anywhere to great effect. 
In this beautiful crystal configuration the rose quartz chunks are cleansed and programmed together to emanate a high charge of peace and healing to the earth within the energy circuit they create on planting, all living within the circuit, and all those who visit that place.

Please note :

All crystals require cleansing both before programming and regularly when in use - daily overnight if worn or carried, or weekly for room crystals. Where crystals are placed or planted outside they will be cleansed by the elements and no further action is required.

Cleansing is essential to avoid the crystals becoming saturated with negative energy which can then drip back into the energy field of the user, or area of placement. To cleanse rose quartz simply place it in a glass container of water overnight, pat dry with a clean natural fibre cloth and then reprogram as given. Crystals new to you are best cleansed for a minimum of twelve hours in this way before use, as they will have connected with many different energies on their journey to you!

To programme your crystals to greatest effect, it is important to cleanse and align yourself and the space you are in first. This is simply done by stopping and being still, and then asking the Light (Universal /Cosmic energy) that all negativity be cleansed from your being and the room/space you are in and that the negativity is released to the Earth for transmutation, and then that you and the room/space are filled with positivity. Then you are ready to begin.
Simply hold the chosen crystal in your right palm (or place on your left palm with your right palm over if the crystal large) and ask that it begins to work for you as given, for example, rose quartz for personal use:

"I ask the Light that this rose quartz veil me with peace, healing and heart connection. Thank you."

The call to Light refers to divine energy (universal/cosmic energy).
