Crystal Healing Cairns

In these times of great challenge, change and uncertainty for all, crystals provide a potent tool to help sustain ourselves and others. If you have a garden, yard or out door space of any kind, one of the greatest gifts of healing and support you can give to yourself, your family, neighbours and community is a crystal healing cairn. I wrote in detail, a couple of years ago about how to action this for yourself and others under ‘Crystal Cairns’ which can be found in the pages section of this blog (go to the right hand side bar).  

Many of you will be familiar with the rose quartz healing cairn at Old Nisthouse here in Orkney. Whilst this has a planetary focus because of its link to the Crystal Earthworks project and its work, I am still often drawn to sit within its vicinity at times of personal challenge, as are other members of my family and visiting friends and relatives. This particular cairn works at personal, community and planetary levels because of its programming and the combination of crystals within, but this is not a requirement for a personal or community based cairn.

Building a crystal cairn is simple and inexpensive to action, yet provides a beautiful anchor point of healing Light so beneficial to our lives and that of others at this time of energetic flux and planetary change.

Global Healing Meditations

There are two meditations this week, tonight Tuesday 25/07/23 and Thursday 29/07/23 both through 8pm BST.  Tonight we return to our focus:

'To send strength, healing and angelic support to all those grieving loss across our beautiful Earth Mother .’

This meditation, will use a Pure Grace Heart, four turquoise, four rose aura and eight angel aura, as shown below. This combination helps to ease the energies of grief at both a personal and planetary level, whatever their root cause, encouraging heart connection.

The focus for Thursday’s peace meditation is:

'To send peace, healing and the strength of heart connection to the Earth and her inhabitants.' 

This meditation will use the beautiful heart shaped chunk of rose quartz shown below and has a particular focus to the lands and people of Greece and beyond affected by wildfires at this time.

Arctic Terns

Earlier in the week, I returned to one of the sites of planting of  labradorite emu eggs, which are being being placed to strengthen immunity of all in their wake in response to the continued avian flu outbreak in the UK. This particular site, in Birsay, on the west mainland of Orkney, is home in the summer to a breeding colony of arctic terns. These beautiful birds, with their streamline profiles, striking red bills, legs and feet, and acrobatic flight, travel all the way form Antartica each spring to breed in various sites across the Northern Hemisphere.

This particular colony has struggled in recent years, with much reduced numbers of birds and breeding often failing or being very limited in its success. Reasons for this are complex with inclement weather, or lack of food availability often being an issue.

This year however, although the birds took up residence later than usual, and the weather having ranged from being very warm (for Orkney!) and then very wet, we counted at least fifteen chicks and believe there to be several more out of sight. 

It's also interesting to note that in the thirteen years we’ve been observing this colony they have always bred on just one of the two rocky outcrops in the vicinity. However, when actioning the planting, in early spring this year, I was drawn to place the crystal on the coastline opposite the nesting site, between the two outcrops. This summer they are successfully using and raising chicks on both of outcrops.

This Week's Meditations

There will be two Crystal Earth meditations this week, Tuesday 18th of July and Thursday 20th of July, both through 8pm BST.

Pure Grace Heart, Rose and Angel Aura

Rose Quartz and Stoat Trapping

Three more rose quartz were placed in the vicinity of stoat traps here in Orkney recently, this time to the East Mainland at Hoxa Head. These rose quartz were once again programmed to veil peace and healing to all in their vicinity and a peaceful passing to any animal trapped. The trapping work of the Orkney Native Wildlife Project  is being done to protect ground nesting birds and native mammals here in Orkney. Programmed rose quartz like these have been planted near to twenty or more traps across the Birsay and Harray areas of  the West Mainland of Orkney, but these are the first to the East Mainland.

Whilst it is too big an undertaking for me to plant all the traps as there are thousands and they are also required to be moved about at times, it feels very humbling to able to act in this way. I am also ever hopeful that others may feel drawn to do the same in their own part of Orkney. 

This way of working could also easily be adapted to other places and projects with a similar aim across the globe. This would ensure such work to undo our collective negative impact on nature is carried out as humanely possible, whilst leaving a lasting legacy of peace and healing imbued to the land.

Meditations This Week

There will be two Crystal Earth Meditations this week, tonight Tuesday 11/07/23 and Thursday 13/07/23, both through 8pm BST.   

Tonight we return to our monthly focus:

'To bring greater harmony and balance to the Earth's energy field.'

This meditation is in response to the high levels of manmade negative electromagnetic radiation swamping our planet at this time.

We continue with our new combination of crystals for this focus, comprised of a Pure Grace Heart, four copper tumble stones, four pyrite and eight angel aura.

This set of crystals, shown below, serve to help release and rebalance the high levels of EMF negativity across the globe as well as facilitating greater acknowledgement of this invisible, growing threat to the health and wellbeing of all.

New meditation configuration in connection

Crystal Planting Hoxa head

After a recent visit to Hoxa Head on the East Mainland of Orkney recently, I felt prompted to crystal plant this area for peace and healing. Located at the entrance to Scapa Flow this site was a key look out point in both the First and  Second World Wars and has intact former naval gun emplacements and observation towers from these times. As there are two war batteries and a number of associated watch towers and war time buildings stretched over about a quarter of a mile of coastline, it felt right to use the 'General Healing’ configuration of crystals comprised of pyrite and rose quartz.

Two lager sets of these crystals were placed, one set to the centre of each of the main battery areas, and smaller pairs of the crystals were then placed to each of the outlook / gun emplacement points. With these particular sets of crystals, the pyrite are cleansed and programmed to transmute negative energy enmeshed to their site of planting, realigning all to positivity and soul path connection, the rose quartz to bring peace and healing to their place of planting and all who visit those places.

The work was done across two visits, such is the complexity of this site, but once all the crystals were in place and ignited the energy of the area felt lighter, more flowing and of greater peace.

Further Apple Aura Planting

I had the gift of visiting a special area of woodland in Orkney yesterday. The wood was planted only in the late seventies and eighties and is home now to an abundance of wildlife and a huge variety of trees. Those of you living in areas where trees are common may not quite relate to the feelings of excitement and awe we experience when connecting with woodland here in Orkney’s windswept, largely treeless landscape!

This particular site is a magical place and I felt drawn to plant one of Crystal Earthworks beautiful apple auras to the base of a hawthorn roughly to the centre of this plantation. These crystals programmed to ground the emerald green light of harmony, balance, restoration and replenishment to the Earth and her inhabitants, are currently being planted to key trees and woodland/forest sites across the globe.

Planetary Healing Meditations

Tonight's meditation returns to our theme of planetary nurturance, with our beautiful crystal configuration comprised of a Pure Grace Heart, 2 moonstone, 2 pietersite, 2 labradorite and 2 mookaite. The programming for this meditation is:

'To nurture, strengthen and realign the Earth and all her life forms in accordance with the greatest good of all.’
