Planting for Peace

The first crystal planted on our beautiful trip away to Argyll was a Rose Heart of Light for Peace and Healing, placed to the earth in the vicinity of Old Castle Lachlan. This ruined 15th century fortress on the banks of Loch Fyne is an atmospheric place made all the more dramatic by a mix of sunshine and hail showers whilst we were visiting.

A former stronghold of the Clan Maclachlan, as with all castles it holds many layers of history and happenings. On placement and ignition of the crystal, the sun shone, a weight lifted and and it felt as if the castle remains and land in the vicinity were being healed of any negative imprints and the castle in turn was becoming an anchor and stronghold of peace. It was a very beautiful and moving experience.

Spring Update

Thank you to everyone who has been connecting into the meditations over the last couple of weeks, its such a simple yet powerful way to work and bless all with much needed peace, healing and positivity. 

Our regular programme continues this week with full details of the Tuesday and Thursday evening meditations 24th and 26th of March 2026 available in the pages section of this blog and our Wednesday Pure Grace Meditation through noon on the 25th March 2026, via the projects website, or by clicking the links. This Tuesday is the focus for the fourth Tuesday of the month and Thursday's meditation for Global Peace focuses once more on events in the Middle East and beyond. As the weather begins to improve here in Scotland and increasing signs of spring emerge I’ve been getting out crystal planting again and I’m looking forward to sharing some of this work in the coming days.

Ostara 2026

 We celebrate the festival of Ostara today, the Spring Equinox here in the Northern Hemisphere, and the Autumn Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere with a special meditation.

The beautiful set of crystals shown below, comprised of five Pure Grace Hearts, four rose aura, four chrysotile in serpentine, and eight angel aura, will be open for twenty minutes this afternoon through 14.45 GMT, the time of the equinox.

Programmed to bless all connecting to them, and the Earth in its entirety, with greater harmony, balance and awakening to positive change and new possibilities for all, this configuration mirrors the beautiful energies available to us as at this moment in time.

International Womens Day

 Today, 8/03/26, we mark International Women’s Day, and the launch in 2008, of the beautiful Pure Grace Heart crystals.

These specially programmed selenite hearts, which bring the beauty of purity, flow and gentle nurturance through connection to the Divine Feminine, have played a key part in the project's work over the last eighteen years.

Full Moon and Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo

Tonight's regular meditation is replaced by an opportunity to connect to a special crystal configuration for today's Full Moon and total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo which reaches its totality at 11.33 am (Full Moon 11.37am) both GMT.

Lunar eclipses represent important opportunities to release all that no longer serves us at both a personal and planetary level and to step into our true strength in peace, heart connection and with trust in the Divine.

The beautiful crystal configuration shown below celebrates the beauty and power of Full Moon energy, of heart connection to the Divine and the golden opportunities that await us all and our beautiful Earth Mother if we are willing to fully release the old and step into the new.

Peace

As tensions mount across the Middle East and beyond, it felt a timely moment to connect back to the beauty of rose quartz and the peace and healing it can bring to all. Whilst we might feel powerless to prevent war, focusing on peace in our own lives and maintaining peaceful relationships with those around us, all helps to bring greater peace to the collective field of consciousness.

Rose quartz can be used to foster a deeper sense of personal peace by wearing, carrying or placing to the bedside. It can also be used around the home, on top of a cairn in the garden or any outside space or planted to an area previously war torn or subject to conflict. All these ways of working with this beautiful, transformative crystal are covered in the pages section of this blog under Rose quartz and Peace.

 

Programmed Rose quartz can also be placed to a meditative space or alter in the home or workplace to facilitate peaceful connections to all within its wake. A daily practise of lighting a candle for greater peace in the world is also a powerful action at any time but especially in moments such as these.

 

Our regular Thursday Global Peace Meditation this week will focus on Peace in The Middle East and Beyond.

Allotment Life

 I shared last year that we had been blessed with the opportunity of an allotment and about some crystal planting actioned there to protect the site. With a brief break in the weather, we started work on the plot again in recent days on what I feel might be a lengthy transformation as it had been neglected for a while and there is still so much to do!

My next crystal based action there is to grid the site with malachite to enhance the Light energy of the soil for food growth. I go into more detail of how this works and how to action it for yourself in the pages section of this blog under Enhancing Our Soils.

I’ve been feeling into the best way to use malachite to this site given that we have inherited so many small beds - more than 12! For most plots you would grid each bed with a malachite to each corner in jars so they can be moved if the use of the planting space changes but on this plot this would amount to over fifty pieces.

Having worked the site for a year now it feels the best solution is to grid the entire plot using three malachite together to act as one to each corner. This would enhance the energy of all the beds within the space for fruit and vegetable growing as well as the areas in-between which would also enhance the soil in which the apple tree we have planted sits and work with very productive fruit bushes outside the designated beds.

Year of the Fire Horse Meditation

Tonight, 17/ 02/26, through 8pm GMT, we have a unique Tuesday Earth Healing Meditation to mark this threshold day, where the Lunar New Year and Year of the Fire Horse begin, coinciding with a solar eclipse and for many Shrove Tuesday or the beginning of Ramadan.

This event will use the beautiful crystal configuration shown below comprised of a Pure Grace Heart and four sunset aura to the centre, four wild horse jasper hearts with four rose aura beyond, four rainbow moonstone and eight angel aura, with a focus on:

 ‘New beginnings and ways of being for the greater good of all.'

To connect in simply sit in peace, in a quiet place, through the allotted time. Let go of all your own worries and concerns, and then use the words and image of the crystals as a positive focus in meditation, positive thought, or prayer. The crystals will be ignited for twenty minutes from 7.50pm to 8.10pm GMT, and can be tuned into for all or part of that time.

Crystal Gift

I was gifted with this stunning scolecite with stilbite crystal piece last week. When I accepted the offer I had envisioned it being about the size of my palm but when it arrived in a small suitcase I realised it was slightly bigger than that!

As it had been in storage for a while and is very fragile and I felt prompted to place it out in the garden to cleanse overnight in the rain, putting any broken bits overnight in a bowl of water. Originally the piece was to be broken up for planting work but it survived its journey here so well that we quickly realised it had a greater purpose than that.

Programmed to veil its healing light to all in accordance with the greater good, it has been placed on a chest in the living room and has quite a presence. It feels to be bringing a gentle stillness and peace to the room, our family and our elderly golden retriever Cora.

Working in particular on the third eye, crown and heart chakras of all in its wake I feel part of its role is helping integrate the new cosmic energies being imbued to the planet at this time as we move deeper into 2026 and beyond. Any bits that have broken off have been similarly programmed and place in a box so that anyone visiting and drawn to its healing power can take one and place to an alter space in their own home or plant in a high energy setting. 

In this way it’s beautiful healing and anchoring light will in time be potentially globally shared. I have already placed a small shard of it on the Crystal Earthworks alter space here in our home.

Amethyst Cleansing

I was recently prompted to buy this beautiful amethyst for our home. Moving to Perthshire around 20 months ago from Orkney we have been on an intense healing journey both as a family and in our new surroundings. As we approach the end of the Year of the Snake it felt both our new house and the family could do with a welcome boost of healing and transformative Light.

Cleansed and programmed for positive transformation for all in its wake, this sparkly amethyst bed feels to be working on many levels from its central position in the hallway of our new home.

Aura Plantings

Begun way back in 2006, this body of crystal planting work is as relevant today, twenty years later, as it was at its inception and the range and types of aura plantings has grown considerably since then. These beautiful crystals formed by bonding precious metals with quartz have unique energies perfectly aligned to current times, as old ways of being fall away and new energies and potentials begin to open up for all.

The latest of these plantings came just before Christmas, with the placement of a topaz aura to the Earthquake House, a popular destination near Crystal Earthworks current base. 

Programmed to realign places of learning and those who work within or visit them to the energies of divine wisdom, this was not the usual site of placement for one of these beautiful iridescent orange crystals. However for this place, it felt perfect, as there is so much to learn from this small building in connection with global energies and the interconnectedness of all things.

Sitting on the Highland Boundary Fault the Earthquake House was established in 1874 to record the earthquakes that have frequently occurred in this area for many centuries. As the internal recording device has been updated over the years it remains relatively simple yet is now sensitive to, and often records, larger earthquakes taking place thousands of miles away across the globe. I find this amazing! This visible evidence of the impact of something taking place on one side of the globe being felt on the other, feels to be such a key reminder to us all. A wake up call, perhaps, of the potential effects of our individual and collective actions on the planet as a whole, and the unity of all.

New Meditation Crystals

As we gradually build up to our full meditation programmed for 2026, there will be three Planetary Healing Meditations this week as our Tuesday evening meditations resume with a new configuration.

I purchased these beautiful petalite and pentagonite crystals towards the end of last year not knowing what they were for but with an inner feeling they were key for some future work.  Now they will form a key part of the meditation configuration for the third Tuesday of each month.

‘To unfurl new ways of being at a personal and planetary level for the greater good of all.’

I am still learning abut their amazing properties and potential healing benefits for ourselves and our beautiful Earth Mother.

Crystal Planting Projects for 2026

With the snow quickly melted here I’m looking forward to actioning more planting work in the weeks and months to come. This year it will be a mix of old and new projects being actioned with the main focus for 2026 being on the following:

December Solstice Meditation 2025

Crystal Earthworks is holding a special Solstice Meditation through 3pm tomorrow, 21/12/25, GMT. This event marks the winter solstice here in the Northern Hemisphere and the summer solstice in the Southern Hemisphere. Wherever we are based it is a potent time to stop and be still, to go inwards, and to reflect on where we are at both a personal and planetary level, celebrating all that is of beauty, and all that we might wish to change and evolve into as we individually and collectively move forward.

This years December solstice is particularly potent as the Earth and her inhabitants are in the energy of a new moon in Sagittarius, towards the end of a year of key karmic and cyclical completion over many cycles of time and with astrological energies aligning to support us in our collective evolution towards new ways of being for the greater good of all.

The crystal configuration for this event reflects all of this, combining a Pure Grace Heart (for purity, flow and connection to the Divine Feminine), four apple aura (representing the Earth), two sunshine aura (solstice energy), two moonstone (for new moon energies), two rose aura (for the current alignment to Venus), two fire agate (reflecting the current influences of Mars) and eight angel aura (for angelic support and connection).

As we approach the final New Moon of 2025, and the Winter Solstice, here in the Northern Hemisphere, I have begun to receive and bring together crystals for the projects planting and meditation work moving forward into 2026.
