World Water Day 2025

Water is essential to all life on Earth and holds much wisdom to empower our everyday lives. Tomorrow, 22/03/25, we celebrate World Water Day and the launch seventeen years ago, in 2008, of a key body of crystal planting work: 'Waters Of Pure Grace'. 

This ongoing project embodies the use of four specially programmed crystal planting configurations and individual crystals to help heal the waters of our energy challenged planet. Our specially programmed selenite hearts form the basis of this body of work and further details can be found in the pages section of this blog.

To mark this occasion there will be a special meditation through midday tomorrow, using a single Pure Grace Heart with the focus:

'To bring greater purity, flow and Light blessings to the waters of the Earth'

Our Thursday night meditation this evening, 20/03/25, through 8pm GMT, reflects today's celebrations of the solar equinox. We are marking this time of equilibrium, harmony, and balance between light and dark across the planet, with the beautiful crystal configuration shown below, programmed:

Meditation Update

There will be change to the project's meditation schedule this week and next, partly due to world events, and also my need to travel in the early part of next week. 

Tonight, Tuesday 18/03/25 and next Thursday 27/03/5,  through 8pm GMT, we will be focusing on Global Peace, Healing and Heart Connection, using the chunk of rose quartz shown below. Tonight's meditation is dedicated to all living in areas of conflict, war and unrest.

Our Wednesday Pure Grace Heart Meditations for these weeks will be replaced by a single meditation through noon on Saturday 22/03/25 marking World Water Day,  and Thursday’s meditation this week will celebrate the Spring Equinox, here in the Northern Hemisphere, details of both of these events to follow later in the week.

Full Moon Eclipse

Last Friday's Full Moon Eclipse was marked with a beautiful planetary healing meditation though midday, here in Scotland, for positive transformation and deeper connection with ourselves, each other and the Earth.

This meditation combined the newly purchased desert rose and desert tear chalcedony, shown below, with a Pure Grace Heart, angel aura and amethyst. It was a powerful combination of crystals  and a beautiful way to mark this energetically key day for all.

Allotment Planting

We have recently been blessed with the gift of an allotment, here in Perthshire. Our half plot has seen better days and needs a bit of fixing so I planted it with amethyst this week, programmed for protection and positive transformation.

Placed to each of the four corners of the plot, this combination of programming sets up an energy circuit of cleansing, protection and positive transformation. The crystals absorb and direct earthward any negative environmental energies, and release any negative imprints held to the earth within the circuit, helping draw in the resources, time and energy to rework the land.

International Women's Day

International Women’s Day, last Saturday, 8/03/25, marked the launch in 2008, of the beautiful Pure Grace Heart crystals. 

These specially programmed selenite hearts, which bring the beauty of purity, flow and gentle nurturance through connection to the Divine Feminine, have been central to much of the project's work over the last seventeen years. 

These stunning crystals can be worn, carried, used in meditation and for crystal healing configurations to the body in a therapy setting. They also form the basis of much ongoing crystal planting and meditation work to help heal and strengthen our beautiful Earth Mother and her inhabitants.

The day was marked this year with a beautiful meditation to strengthen and rebalance Divine Feminine energy across the globe using a Pure Grace Heart to its centre.

Angel Aura

Highlighting the beauty of angel aura today. 

We began working with these beautiful pearly white iridescent crystals in 2016. Formed by fusing clear quartz with silver and platinum, the resultant vibration resonates well with the interface between angelic and earthly realms, hence their name.

Specially programmed to enhance angelic connection to the bearer or place of planting and all in their wake, they work at this interface opening portals to angelic consciousness wherever they are placed.

Suitable sites of planting are areas of high positive energy such as places of worship, spiritual centres, viewpoints, hill tops and natural environments of great purity. They can also play a key part in enhancing healing by placing to sites where many are in need, such as hospital grounds, orphanages, care homes and hospices.

 

Programmed angel aura can also be worn, carried or used in body placements to enhance angelic connection at a personal level.

These stunning crystals have brought much healing at both the personal and planetary level over the last 8 years and continue to do so from their places of planting, as a key part of many of the project's weekly Earth Healing meditations and in therapy work.

Aqua Aura Planting Rhodes

One of the final plantings I actioned on Rhodes in the Autumn was the placement of this stunning aqua aura into the limestone surrounding the 12th century chapel dedicated to the Prophet Elias high on the hill above Pefkos, Rhodes.

Programmed to enhance spiritual connection through unconditional love in action, this crystal felt perfect for this beautiful, ancient and very moving site, overlooking the village of Pefkos where we were staying.

Many visitors visit the site daily during their stays in the area, treating the many stepped walkway up the hillside as a regular pilgrimage to take in the peace, tranquility and amazing views from this special place.

This planting also added to the ever growing network of aqua aura crystals being planted across the globe to high energy sites to enhance spiritual connection and heart led service to all. Catching Up

As I continue to catch up on crystal planting records from last year, I felt drawn to share this beautiful placement from Rhodes. If you have been following Crystal Earthworks for a while you will know that I, and others, have been planting key standing stones and natural rock formations for a while across the UK and beyond. These plantings are part of the projects global crystal placement work to enhance the energy of sacred stones and sites, in connection to current times.

On Rhodes  - I was intuitively prompted to plant the stunning Lions Head rock near Lindos with a beautiful merlinite crystal. At first I had no idea how we would access the site but then we were gifted with an amazing boat trip which took us right up to the rock so it was easy to place the crystal into the water next to it.

The whole area is a natural high energy site of great beauty, flow and purification partly due to the way waters uprising further out in the ocean continually replenish the nearby bay and surrounding sea.

A Pure Grace Heart for Coastal Waters was also placed a little further south down the coast, off the boat on the same trip, as part of the Waters of Pure Grace work. Further details of this area of planting can be found in the pages section of this blog.

Key Crystals

Someone asked me recently if I had to choose only three crystals to use in Earth Healing what would they be? Although I have both personally and collectively used an ever expanding variety of crystals through the planting and meditation work over the last 24 years, the answer to this was still easy - rose quartz, amethyst and pyrite.

Rose quartz is key as it brings about peace and gentle healing to whomever or wherever it is placed. Just as anyone can wear rose quartz, anywhere can be planted with rose quartz to beneficial effect. It can be used singularly, in multiples of four to energetically grid an area, or in combination with other crystals to bring about different nuances of healing depending on the nature and history of a particular site. This beautiful vibrant pink crystal is a true gift to our planet at this time of division and unrest and is already veiling much healing light to the Earth both seen and unseen.

Amethyst, with its vibrant violet hues is the stone of transformation, and forms the basis of several of Crystal Earthworks Earth healing configurations. It has a particular propensity both at a personal and planetary level to cleanse and release held negativity and karmic patterning bringing about positive change. It can also be used to energetically grid, contain and begin to alchemise negative energies at sites such as landfill, recycling or rubbish processing centres or simply the bin and recycle areas of our own homes. Its transmutational and protective qualities are key in protecting our homes and workplaces from negative environmental energies and it can also be carried as a personal amulet to this effect so needed in the negative energy soup within which most on the planet are currently residing.

Pyrite, the third of the crystals chosen, and sometimes known as 'fools gold’ due to its shiny metallic appearance, is in many ways the most relevant crystal to current times. At a personal level it works to help break down stubborn negative mental patterning but its key role in our homes, communities and at a planetary level is absorbing and directing earthward the high levels of manmade EMF’s swamping our planet at this time. Planted to mobile phone masts, pylons and substations it has the power to transform peoples health and the health of the Earth as a whole reducing climate change and our susceptibility to serious illness and disease. 

I’ll be sharing more about each of these crystals and how to use them to maximum effect over the coming months.

Holocaust Memorial

With the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau this week, and the opportunity of return for many Palestinians to North Gaza with the current ceasefire in place, it felt a fitting time to share a very moving crystal planting I actioned on our trip to Amsterdam last Autumn. 

On our third day there we visited the National Holocaust Memorial which stands where the stage once was at De Hollandsche Schouwburg. This was once a thriving Dutch theatre but early in the second world war was deemed by the occupying Nazis to be a ‘Jewish' theatre and then subsequently turned into the main assembly point for Jewish people in Amsterdam awaiting deportation to the concentration camps. The stories of suffering connected with this site are heartbreaking and many held there never returned. After the war the site fell into disrepair but in 1962 it was dedicated as a general memorial site and after renovations in the early nineties now incorporates a powerful exhibition telling its history as well as the Memorial itself.

I was prompted to place two different crystals on our visit. Firstly a Rose heart of Light to bring peace and healing to the land buildings, all once held there, and all now visiting. This crystal was placed to the base of the memorial itself where others had left various items in memory of those held there.

Secondly a Rose Aura was placed centrally to the base of a tree to the garden area behind the Memorial as an anchor of heart connection to the site and all visiting or connected to it.

It is a powerful place to visit, reflect deeply on our own lives, and remember in our hearts that we are all truly one. 

New Moon Meditation

Our weekly Wednesday Pure Grace Heart meditation, today 29/01/25, through noon GMT, coincides with the first new moon of 2025, and is a powerful time to connect inwardly with the Earth as a whole in our hearts.

Fluorite Platter

I had the gift of visiting a beautiful crystal shop near us at the weekend, for the first time since we moved. It was lovely to enter such a beautiful place and several purchases were made. Among them was this beautiful watermelon fluorite ‘platter’. I’m increasingly using flat pieces of crystal like this in sanctuary spaces within the house with a small candle burning on top. 

Working in this way enhances the energy of the crystal and in turn the energy of the space and surrounding environment within which it is placed. Fluorite is a bringer of flow and pieces such as this with a propensity of violet in them are amazing transmutational aids of negativity and negative karmic patterns, bringing greater strength to deal with life’s challenges and facilitating deeper spiritual connection.
