I’ve been preparing in recent days to build a meditation cairn in the garden of our new home, here in Perthshire. The village where we are based is on the confluence of three rivers, and its name is derived from the a Gaelic term meaning 'together flowing', so it felt good to gather stones from the river bed of each one.

There are several different crystals which are good for crystal cairns but snow quartz for gentle nurturance and strengthening feels right in this instance. I now just need to intuit where best to place the cairn and when best to ignite its energy!
