Crystals For Grief

There are many silver linings emerging from the current pandemic, and it is amazing to see the Earth physically healing in a way many of us could have only dream't about.
However with that positive change has come great loss for many. Loss of loved ones, perhaps before their time, the hardship of being separated from close families or friends for lengthy periods, loss of jobs, careers or hard earned opportunites for learning, creating and educating and of course for many the loss of personal freedom, even if that is for a limited period. All these changes to our lives can leave us with overwhelming feelings of grief and sorrow, which if not acknowledged and healed can come to dominate our very being, limiting our abilities to stay healthy, positive or to even want to carry on. When these energies are collective, as in current times, the maelstrom they create can weigh heavily on planetary energy and come to affect us all. The last three Monday night Crystal Earth Meditations have focused on healing grief patterns across the globe, for this very reason, to help cleanse and rebalance this energy at an individual, community and planetary level.

Individually we can also support ourselves and begin to heal these patterns with the use of crystals to help us transmute and release negativity, bring about healing, and draw in positive energy to help us move forward.
Carrying a 'Grief Set' comprised of an apache tear, malachite and a herkimer diamond, programmed together, to heal yourself of all negative energies connected to grief and return joy, life and positivity to yourself one more, can bring about powerful change. Ideally this would be supported by healing sessions with an experienced therapist, however for many under lockdown restrictions, this is not possible at this time. Yet simply carrying these crystals daily in a silk pouch can make a huge difference to our wellbeing. I have used crystals in this way both personally and with clients, friends and relatives and have been humbled by the positive changes they can bring about.
The apache tear absorbs negativity, the malachite aligns the heart and mind and the the herkimer diamond brings an influx of positivity and well being.

Alternatively if you don't have or are having difficulty sourcing this combination of crystals, simply wearing or carrying a piece of rose quartz programmed to bring peace and healing to yourself in connection with feelings of grief and loss is also a powerful way to support yourself moving forward.

If your grief is collective, for example where there has been loss of a family member, a chunk of rose quartz programmed to bring peace and healing in to all in its wake and placed centrally to the family home is also beneficial.

All crystals require cleansing both before programming and regularly when in use - daily overnight in water if worn or carried,  or weekly for room crystals.
Cleansing is essential to avoid the crystals becoming saturated with negative energy which can then drip back into the energy field of the user, or area of placement. To cleanse either of these types of crystals simply place in a glass of water overnight, pat dry with a clean natural fibre cloth and then reprogram as described. Crystals new to you are best cleansed for a minimum of twelve hours in this way before use, as they will have connected with many different energies on their journey to you!

To programme your crystals to greatest effect, it is important to cleanse and align yourself and the space you are in first. This is simply done by stopping and being still, and then asking the Light (Universal /Cosmic energy) that all negativity be cleansed from your being and the room/space you are in and that the negativity is released to the Earth for transmutation, and then that you and the room/space are filled with positivity. Then you are ready to begin.
Simply hold the chosen crystal or crystals in your right palm and ask that they begin to work for you as given, for example:

Meditation Update

First of the 50/50 crystals

I planted the first of the 'Fifty Crystals in Fifty days', last Wednesday 22/04/20 on Earth day and the day of the launch of the project. I was drawn to using a rose aura for heart connection for our local area of Harray and beyond. The crystal was planted to the top of the Kame of Corrigall, the high point behind Old Nisthouse, our home here in Orkney. As you can see it was a beautiful day, with amazing views and it felt to be the perfect start to this new planting work. My oldest daughter and Cora, our dog, kept me company.

Fifty Crystals In Fifty Days

To mark the fiftieth anniversary of Earth Day we are launching a new global crystal planting project to plant fifty crystals in fifty days.
There are many ways to plant crystals to heal and replenish the Earth. This project celebrates that diversity, and encourages all to join us in actioning helping our beautiful, yet energy challenged planet, by placing crystals to enhance the Earth healing that has already begun as a result of global lockdown.
To join in simply choose a crystal you feel drawn to from your toolkit or personal collection, cleanse it overnight in water and pat dry, with a clean natural fibre cloth and then hold it in your right palm and ask that it bring healing to planet Earth in accordance with the greatest good of all.
For example:

'I ask the Light, please charge this 'rose quartz' crystal to bring healing and replenishment to the Earth in accordance with the greatest good of all.'

The call to Light refers to divine energy (universal/cosmic energy).

Then take the crystal and plant it into the earth where ever you feel drawn and are able to, whilst respecting  Covid-19 guidelines within your area. 
Crystals can be placed directly into the soil, under stones, into water, anywhere that feels right and so that they will not be disturbed. 

To programme your crystal to greatest effect, it is best to cleanse and align yourself and the space you are in first. This is simply done by stopping and being still, and then asking the Light (Universal /Cosmic energy) that all negativity be cleansed from your being and the room/space you are in and that the negativity is released to the Earth for transmutation, and then that you and the room/space are filled with positivity. Then you are ready to begin.

If you feel unsure which crystal to plant rose quartz can be used anytime and in any place, for we can all benefit from its peace and healing properties. Otherwise ask for a dream or to be shown in a meditation or simply follow your heart. As long as the crystals are programmed as above they can only benefit all, and the Earth will simply absorb the healing energies she requires.

Today is Earth Day - launched 50 years ago to bring about positive action for a planet in crisis its aims, hope and aspirations are more relevant than ever today.
Crystal Earthworks is marking the occasion with a special planetary healing meditation through 8pm tonight and also the launch of a new crystal planting programme to plant 50 crystals in 50 days. All are welcome to be a part of these events, and separate posts will detail how to go about this.

Sunshine Aura

Following on from Easter Sundays meditation, Crystal Earthworks is sponsoring the gift of five Sunshine Aura. These crystals were specially programmed through midday on the recent solstice to bring joy, hope, positivity and strength to the bearer or place of planting. For personal use, they can be worn, carried or used as a meditation aid or placed out in the home or workplace. For planting (directly into the earth), they have a particular energy remit best suited for placing to places of transition and change, such as care homes, hospitals, hospices and healing centres, or for placing

centrally to a community, or to a high point in an area, from which they will veil positive energy to all in their wake.
I first connected to these beautiful crystals a couple of years ago and did some planting with them last year, and a few of us began using them personally to great effect. However in many ways their true purpose feels to be for times of great change and challenge, such as we are facing now - hence their use over Easter and this offer today.

For many, today marks the beginning of Easter weekend. Ultimately the message of Easter is one of hope, joy and potential, and this will be the basis of our meditation on Sunday.

Celestite - The Angel Stone

One of the greatest challenges many of us are facing at this time, myself included, is having a family member, friend or loved one having to be in self isolation, separate from us, or a loved one being taken into hospital and being unable to be at their side.

The beauty of crystals and crystal planting is that there is always something we can do to help others, to make a positive difference, and to feel empowered rather than helpless in the face of hardship and adversity.

Sending those who are ill and separate from us positive thoughts and prayers is always a powerful way to help those in need. In addition placing a piece of celestite to a sanctuary space or place of peace in our home, programmed to veil angelic peace, strength and healing to the person in question, can greatly help anyone facing illness or challenge, for in truth we are never alone.

Any rough cut or tumbled piece of celestite can be used in this way and a simple window sill or cupboard top, kept clear of clutter, can be used as a focal point. You could add a candle, photograph of the person, even flowers but none of this is a requirement.

Using celestite in this way is powerful opportunity to support those you love, whatever the outcome of their difficulty or illness. 

To programme the crystal simply hold it in your right palm and ask:

"I ask the Light, please charge this celestite crystal to veil angelic peace, strength and healing to ....full name of the person and their location.... Thank you.'

The crystal will require cleansing both before programming and regularly when in use. 
Celestite, used in this way is best cleansed weekly by rinsing in running water, rather than soaking, due to its crumbly nature, or it can be placed to an amethyst, or salt bed if you are familiar with these methods. After rinsing place the crystal in natural light to rest for at least three hours before reprogramming. You may wish to have two pieces, which you alternate so there is always a piece in active use. 
Crystals new to you are best cleansed for a minimum of twelve hours before using, as they will have connected with many different energies on their journey to you!

Protecting Against Negative Electromagnetic Energies

I wrote about using amethyst and labradorite to help protect against negative environmental energies and strengthen immunity a couple of weeks ago. The other way of using crystals, which feels more important than ever, in terms of supporting our health at this time, is using pyrite to negate negative electromagnetic energies.

Placing appropriately programmed pyrite with computers, routers, televisions and using pyrite with mobile phones is key in negating an overload of negative EMF's on our physical bodies and energy fields. Such an overload can lower immunity and leave us more susceptible to disease as well as lowering our ability to recover from illness.
Similarly placing programmed pyrite to plug sockets, or chunks of programmed pyrite to rooms such as the kitchen, where there may be many electronic items in use, is also hugely beneficial.
Pyrite used in these ways will absorb the negative electromagnetic energies emitted by these devices, thus helping negate their potential negative effects on health.

Is the programming necessary? Placing un-programmed pyrite in these ways will work to a degree, however, programming the crystals can magnify their power by up to 100 fold. There are specific programmes for each type of device to maximise their healing effect but to simply hold the appropriate sized pyrite crystal in your right palm and ask that it absorb all negative electromagnetic emissions from the named device or room/space to which it is placed will suffice at this time of great challenge for all.

For example:
'I ask the Light, please charge this pyrite crystal to absorb all negative electromagnetic energy from the television /room /mobile phone to which it is placed. Thank you.'

Suitable sizes of crystal are fist sized for all electronic appliances in a room/space, small cube or rough cut pieces for mobile phones/ plug sockets and medium tumbled or rough cut pieces for any other  specific device such as computer, router, microwave etc. Room pyrite are best placed to a window sill, a mobile phone pyrite can be carried with the phone in a silk purse, and pyrite for other devices simply placed on or near the device in question.

If you are using a device such a computer or tablet a lot, it can be good to have two crystals which you program and use alternately, weekly, so that the crystals have a chance to rest.

Crystals and Immunity

Staying healthy at this time is a challenge for us all. Crystals can be used to both protect us from negative environmental energies, which can lower our resistance to disease, and to strengthen our immune systems to fight infection. Whilst using the healing power of crystals in these ways won't necessarily stop us getting ill, they can help in reducing the severity of the symptoms and our vulnerability to further complications.

The two crystals I would recommend and I am personally using with myself and family members at this time are amethyst and labradorite.

To use amethyst as protective amulet, simply take a small to medium tumbled piece, cleanse over night in water then hold in your right palm and ask that it veil you with the light of transmutation and protection from negative environmental energies. You can then wear the amethyst as a pendant using a 'jewellery cage', or carry it in a silk pouch in a pocket or pinned to clothing.
Similarly for children or adults not comfortable wearing or carrying amethyst, a small fist sized piece of amethyst can be cleansed over night in water, then held in the right hand and asked to transmute negative collected energies from the room or space to which it is placed and protect those within from negative environmental energies. Place to the bedroom or sleeping area, a window sill is ideal.
Using amethyst in either of these ways  sets up a circuit of protective energy around the energy field or aura of those using the crystals.

To use labradorite to positively charge your immune system, take a small to medium tumbled piece, cleanse overnight in water and then hold in your right palm and ask that it strengthen your immunity.
The crystal can then be worn or carried or placed by or under your bed.

Crystals new to you are best cleansed for a minimum of twelve hours in this way before use, as they will have connected with many different energies on their journey to you!

To programme your crystals to greatest effect, it is important to cleanse and align yourself and the space you are in first. This is simply done by stopping and being still, and then asking the Light (Universal /Cosmic energy) that all negativity be cleansed from your being and the room/space you are in and that the negativity is released to the Earth for transmutation, and then that you and the room/space are filled with positivity. Then you are ready to begin.

The amethyst crystal cairn, in combination with other crystals, here at Old Nisthouse, Orkney, has been redirected to send strength to all in distress across the globe, in connection with the coronavirus.

The Pure Grace Heart

On Sunday, International Women's day, Crystal Earthworks, celebrated the launch on the 8/03/08 of the Pure Grace Heart.
Connecting to the purity, strength and flow of the divine feminine, these specially programmed selenite hearts can be used individually, or in combination with a variety of other crystals, to bring about healing at both a personal and planetary level, in a multitude of ways.

Planted this beautiful Arfvedsonite crystal to 'Hedgehog' wood near Old Nisthouse, Orkney, this week, Tuesday 3/03/20, programmed to strengthen, align and protect all aspects of elemental life.
This marks the beginning of a new area of planting work to strengthen, align and protect the Earth's planetary body and all connected lifestreams. Over the next few months a series of new crystals and different ways to plant them will be introduced as part of this work.

Meditation For The Lands and People of Syria

The focus for tonight's Crystal Earth Meditation, 5/03/20, through 8pm GMT, is:

'To send peace, strength and positive connections to the lands and people of Syria.'

This meditation is in response to the current refugee crisis in Syria and beyond, and will use a combination of a Pure Grace Heart, rose quartz, chrysocolla and celestite.

Pyrite, Amethyst and EMF'S

With news last week of multi-million pound investment in developing 5G here in Orkney, it feels important to post a reminder about the ever growing challenges to personal and planetary health unchecked EMF's pose, in current times.
The greatest healing gift we can give to ourselves and our beautiful planet here in 2020, is to use appropriately programmed pyrite with all electrical appliances, computers routers, microwaves, mobile phones and other sources of EMF's, plant programmed fist sized chunks of pyrite to mobile phone masts, pylons substations and transformers in our neighbourhoods and wear/carry or use room amethysts programmed for protection against negative environmental energies.
