As we prepare our garden for its new owners, I was reminded last weekend of the amazing recycling abilities of our beautiful Mother Earth. Photos show the rich compost mulch our veggie waste has turned into here in Orkney in around nine months thanks to the warmth of the sun and the abundance of worms which naturally introduced themselves through holes we had made in the bottom of the bin. Composting is truly a magical gift both to ourselves and our planet.
