The first crystal planted on our recent trip to Shetland was this beautiful chiastolite crystal. Programmed to enhance spiritual awareness and connection to the ascension path to all in its wake, this beautiful crystal was placed just below the alter area to St Ninians chapel on St Ninians Isle in the South Mainland.

It was a very stormy day when we first visited this ancient sacred site. Difficult to stand up on the more exposed cliff edges in the wind, the views as we crossed the amazing natural tombola and explored a little way beyond were stunning.

The existing stone remains are of a 12th century medieval church, built over a pre Norse 8th century church, and Iron Age remnant’s dating back to around 800 BC. It is also the site of an amazing archeological find of Pictish silver-gilt objects as well as an ancient burial ground. A very atmospheric site on a beautiful isle.
