Universal Children's Day

The United Nations' (UN) Universal Children's Day, was established in 1954 and is celebrated on November 20th each year to promote international togetherness and awareness among children worldwide as well as to act as a platform to promote their well being.

In celebration of this event, this year, we are encouraging as many people as possible to plant a crystal to help children across the globe, tomorrow 20th November 2010.

Simply take a rose quartz or celestite crystal of any size or shape - it can be rough cut or tumbled.
Rinse it in running water to cleanse and pat dry with a clean white cotton cloth or similar.
Hold it in your right palm and ask that it be charged to bring peace (rose quartz) or angelic help (celestite) to the children of the Earth.
Then simply plant it to where you feel drawn by digging a hole and burying it, placing it under a stone or in a crack in a wall or in paving where it wont be disturbed.
It may be planted to a place of beauty, a place of need or a place directly connected to children - school, playground, home, refuge - trust your intuition.
Once placed, simply stand and ask that the crystal be ignited

Green Burial Sites

Someone was asking me the other day about the best crystals to plant to a green burial site. Two different types of planting feel right:

The first is to plant for peace using rose quartz. This involves creating a crystal grid to the site using fist sized chunks of rose quartz in a set of four. This can be added to with further grids if the site isn't square or rectangular. The crystals are programmed using specific words to ensure the cleansing of the land within the grid created and the veiling of peace to all within the grid. Sets of programmed crystals with an accompanying leaflet to guide the planting are available from the Crystal Earthworks so please get in touch if you are interested.

Secondly planting with a single programmed Aqua Aura crystal to facilitate spiritual connection is also applicable. Details of these crystals are available on the Community Planting Projects page of the website - see Crystal Earthworks link.

Planting For Peace

I have had a few enquiries in recent weeks about how best to crystal plant sites where violent and traumatic events have taken place. Whilst any location is unique in its history of events and therefore the crystals best planted to bring healing to it, 'Planting for Peace and Healing' is always a good starting point. This involves griding the site concerned with specially programmed fist sized chunks of rose quartz in sets of four which can be added to for locations which are not naturally square or rectangular in shape.

This type of crystal planting is simple to do and will bring about profound changes to the energy imprinted to the land within the crystal circuit planted, returning peace and purity to the very earth itself and bringing peace and healing to all visiting or incumbent to that place.

Crystal Earthworks can provide ready programmed sets of crystals for this purpose with an accompanying leaflet to guide the planting.
Full details of how to both programme and plant crystals for this purpose will also be in 'Crystal Clear' the book being written on behalf of the project and due for publication towards the end of 2010.

Latest Crystal Plantings

Reports received of Planting for Peace to a house in Hebden Bridge West Yorkshire and planting for positive change to a small hamlet on the North Yorkshire Moors this week. Planting for Peace uses rose quartz crystals and just as it is safe for anyone to wear or carry rose quartz, any site can be planted for peace using this configuration. An explanatory leaflet and accompanying programmed crystals are available via mail order from the Crystal Earthworks website. Planting for Positive Change uses amethyst crystals and can be used to any wasteland site, area that is run down or to buildings that are derelict. The crystals help to absorb and redirect earthward any negative energy held to such areas and draw in positive energy for regeneration.
