Global Peace Meditations

With the continued unfolding situation in the Middle East, the ongoing war in Ukraine, and their wider reverberations around the world, both our regular planetary healing meditations this week focus once again on Global Peace. 

These meditations will continue to use the heart shaped rose quartz chunk shown below, programmed: 

'To send peace, healing and heart connection to the Earth and her inhabitants.’

This will be our focus through 8pm GMT, tonight Tuesday 31st of October and Thursday 2nd of November. Please feel welcome to join us for one or both of these meditations.

To connect in simply sit in peace, in a quiet place, through either or both of the allotted times. Let go of all your own worries and concerns, and then use the words and image of the crystal as a positive focus in meditation, positive thought, or prayer. The crystal will be ignited for twenty minutes from 7.50pm to 8.10pm GMT, on each of the evenings and can be tuned into for all or part of that time.

If you are in a different time zone please feel able to connect into the energy of these meditations at a time to suit you or to use the rose quartz healing cairn, here in Orkney as a positive focus promoting global peace.

Further Calcite Planting

This stunning piece of calcite, programmed to strengthen the mineral body of the Earth, was planted a couple of weeks ago to Bu Point, out beyond Stromness on mainland Orkney, Scotland. I had been drawn to this piece not quite understanding its relevance to the area we had planned to walk but looking for a kingfisher on the way we ended up on a completely new walk to us which took us to this amazing rocky outcrop looking out into Scapa Flow. This felt like a powerful place energetically where the land meets the sea and the colours and thus energy resonance of the crystal seemed to perfectly match its place of planting.

Peace Meditations

Avian Flu

I read some good news this weekend, with scientific evidence that sea birds are starting to develop some immunity to avian flu.

As many of you will know, we have been planting labradorite emu eggs, programmed to strengthen immunity to all in their wake to sites of nesting seabirds across Orkney, over the last fourteen months, in response to this devastating disease. 

Writing this I have felt prompted to extend this work to the main nesting sites of Great Skua’s here in Orkney as their numbers have plummeted recently as a result of this disease.

If you would like to contribute to this work in your own area, please get in touch. We are currently sponsoring five programmed crystals for planting for this purpose for the cost of postage and packaging.

Further Rose Quartz Planting

Continuing with our rose quartz theme, a rose quartz 'Heart of Light' was placed into the sea off the cliffs at Windwick bay on South Ronaldsay, Orkney, on our recent trip to the area. This was planted to bring peace and healing to the land and sea here, and the families of 188 men who lost their lives in January 1918, when two Royal Navy destroyers got caught in a blizzard and grounded on rocks in the area. Only one sailor survived.

These beautiful hearts, specially programmed on the full moon, are perfect to place to such sites of tragedy where gridding with rose quartz would be difficult and the accurate placement of other crystal configurations not possible. Planted in this way they bring peace and healing not only to the land and water but also the descendants of those who lost their lives, healing the ancestral lines of grief and loss.

Global Peace

These meditations will continue to use the heart shaped rose quartz chunk shown below, programmed:

Rose Quartz Planting

Rose quartz seems to have been the focus of our work over this past week, being used both in healing work through meditation for so many in growing need, and planted for two very different purposes last Monday in the South of Orkney.

The first of these placements was a piece of unpolished rose quartz, planted in the vicinity of a stoat trap on the cliffs above Wind Wick Bay, South Ronaldsay. These crystals, programmed to veil peace and healing to all in their wake, and a peaceful passing to any animal trapped, are being placed in connection with ongoing work to remove stoats from Orkney, by the Orkney Native Wildlife project. These beautiful mammals were introduced to the Isles some fifteen years ago and sadly have caused much destruction to breeding birds and Orkney voles - an endemic species here. 

The complexities of restoring our Earth to its natural balance, harmony and flow are challenging in current times, with all we have collectively destroyed and thrown off kilter. Yet there are many seeking to renew harmonious ways of living on our beautiful planet both in connection with the Earth herself and with each other.

Crystals have a vast energetic capacity, when used with care, respect and understanding, to enhance this renewal and return to sustainable ways of living in peace for all. Rose quartz is a key tool in that pathway and I’ll be sharing more of how we can use it both personally and collectively over the next few days.

Palestine and Israel

A reminder that we have the second of our meditations tonight, through 8pm BST, focusing on sending peace, healing and heart connection to all those affected by ongoing events in Palestine, Israel and beyond. Full details of how to connect in to help so many in growing need are in Monday's post.

This is also a reminder that the global healing cairn, here at Old Nisthouse, Orkney, can also be connected into at any time to send peace and healing to these areas.

Whilst these acts may seem small and insignificant in terms of all that is taking place at this time, they do make a positive difference and bless those participating with a greater sense of peace and hope in the face of such adversity and suffering.

This Week's Meditations

After an unexpected gap in our meditation schedule, we return this week to our regular Tuesday and Thursday meditations.

In light of the recent and ongoing events in Israel and Palestine, both our meditations this week, Tuesday 10/10/23 and Thursday 12/10/23,  focus on sending peace, healing and heart connection to all affected by this conflict.

Both these events will use the heart shaped chunk of rose quartz shown below.
