Tonight's Crystal Earth Meditation is a continuation of our work to help bees across the planet.

As many of you will know bees have been suffering a dramatic reduction in numbers across the planet in recent years with potentially dramatic consequences for all of us if this decline is not reversed. There are many people across the Globe doing fantastic work to help reverse this trend, as well as increase public awareness of the current plight of bees and its planetary significance.

This meditation will be repeated every other month throughout 2010. The focus is:

Planting With A Difference!

Last weeks crystal planting trip was very different to most weekly sessions. I had quite a few crystals which had been working very hard over long periods and had lost their sparkle and sheen so it felt right to return them to the earth.

The best way of doing this is to place them in fast flowing water or the sea and simply ask that they be returned to the earth for the greatest good of all. As we are surrounded by sea in here in Orkney the latter seemed the best option and it was lovely trip out.

Meditation for Whales

The focus for this weeks Crystal Earth Meditation on Wednesday 28th April is:

'To send strength, peace and protection to whales across the globe.'

This meditation is in light of recent global negotiations in connection to whales and will use a combination of a Pure Grace Selenite Heart, malachite, rose quartz and celestite crystals. Please use your own positive image of whales as a focus for this meditation.

World Earth Day

Crystal Earthworks is celebrating World Earth Day, today 22nd April 2010, with the anniversary of its launch of two Earth healing crystal planting sets, launched on this day two years ago:

PURE EARTH and PURE STRENGTH

PURE STRENGTH

This combines a Pure Grace Heart with four malachite.
It is a configuration to bring great healing, alignment and strength to the natural world and can be planted to facilitate cleansing, strength, renewal growth, regeneration, vitality and flow.
It has a particular relevance to trees - the great supporters of life on our planet yet will help support 'natures web' on all levels.
Suitable sites of planting include forests, woodland, copses, National Parks, wildlife parks, nature reserves and sites of special scientific interest.





PURE EARTH

This combines a Pure Grace Heart with four rubies.
It is a configuration to bring healing to the lands, earth and inhabitants of its place of planting, promoting the flow of physical and emotional nourishment, sustenance and abundance.
It can be planted to promote and sustain soil fertility, placed to areas of deprivation and poverty and has both rural and urban applications.




These sets are part of a body of crystal planting work being jointly developed by Jennifer Anne Mole and Louise Forsyth.

Crystal Planting Trip

We have just returned from a trip 'sooth', as they say on Orkney, during which I managed some inspiring crystal planting - mainly aura crystals abut also rose quartz which can be safely planted anywhere to bring about peace and healing. Amazing weather too - left in the snow and returned to warm spring sunshine!

Aqua Aura Planting on Ben Hope

I was blessed last weekend with a trip up Ben Hope in Sutherland, North West Scotland to plant an Aqua Aura crystal as part of the work for the Global Aura planting project (for further details of this crystal panting project go to the Crystal Earthworks link and access the Community Planting Project page).


It felt such a gift to spend a day in the mountains on my own and was a challenge in many respects as it is along time since I had walked in such a remote place with snow on the upper reaches. The programmed crystal was planted just behind the trig point and its placement felt very empowering at both a personal and planetary level.

Today is World Water day 2010 and the anniversary of the launch two years ago of the Community Crystal Planting Project:

'Waters of Pure Grace'

This project embodies the use of three specially programmed crystal planting configurations to help heal the waters of our energy challenged planet. These crystal sets offer a unique opportunity for anyone across the globe to plant crystals to heal areas of pollution, stagnation and trauma in connection to water.

The crystal planting sets are:

Pure Source
This set is composed of one Pure Grace Heart, one aqua aura and one amethyst, specially programmed together to cleanse planetary waters of physical and emotional pollution bringing healing and returning balance and flow.

Crystal Earth Meditation

This meditation is in particular response to the recent earthquakes in Haiti, Chile and for all refugees and asylum seekers, yet its application is far wider.

More Snow!

Thank you to all those of you who joined in with this weeks meditation.

The prompt for this came from reading an article in the newspaper last week about red deer in Scotland being in danger of starvation because of the unusually large amounts of snow preventing them from feeding.

Since then much of Scotland has had further snow so the help is much needed. It also felt important to extend the focus to all life forms across the globe as so many animals and habitats are facing challenges world wide.

Next months animal meditation will be specifically for bees again, a special meditaion started in January and repeated every two months throughout 2010.

Aqua Aura Planting, Orkney

The view above was taken from one of my favourite places on the West Mainland last week, looking out to the Old Man of Hoy. It is in the middle of a stretch of the western coastline where a cairn provides a resting place. I have planted an aqua aura crystal there as part of the community planting project to crystal plant places of spiritual connection (see Crystal Earthwork link and go to Community Planting projects page for further details) as it feels such a special place and constantly draws myself and my family back.

Planting Gloabal Coastal Waters

Many thanks for all you supportive emails around this project - see January 8th 2009 posting for further details. We have made a fantastic start with six crystals already sent out or ordered, two for Southern India, two for Hawaii, one for Spain and one destination to be decided on by the recipient! We look forward to keeping you informed of the development of the project as the crystals are planted.

Continued Help for Haiti

Thank you to all those of you who have connected into the crystals set up to help the people and lands of Haiti over the last week. The crystals were closed temporarily yesterday and cleansed overnight but will be reopened through midday today and will remain open for a further two weeks until midday Monday 8th February, with a respite for cleansing from midday on Monday 1st February to midday Tuesday 2nd February.

Crystal Planting In The Ice and Snow

In light of the recent wintry weather in the UK I have had one or two enquiries about how to go about planting crystals in the depths of winter. As might be expected, there are no hard and fast rules.

If you can dig down through deep snow and the ground is not frozen, then it might be hard work but possible. A stone or small pile of stones can be used to cover crystals where the ground is frozen and the crystals can then be dug in later, if you feel the crystals so placed will be vulnerable to disturbance left like this on a long term basis. If you live in an area with dry stone walls these can also be very handy for placing smaller crystals.

If you can't actually access the site of planting because of snow and ice, as has happened to me over the last few weeks in Orkney, then temporary placement ready for transfer to the required planting is an option for certain types of planting. Alternatively, you may just have to be patient and wait until the weather improves.

If you live somewhere like Canada or Alaska then Spring, Summer and Autumn may be your best times to crystal plant and the Winter used to plan trips for warmer, less frozen times!

Crystals For Haiti

In place of the usual Crystal Earth Meditation tonight a rose quartz chunk surrounded by 12 celestite will be opened to bring peace, healing, strength and positive connections to the lands and people of Haiti.

These crystals will remain open over the coming week, for any one to connect into and empower their action at any time.

Thank you to all those who have helped those in need in this troubled region so far and I hope you are able to connect in during the week to come.
