Just been planing some crystal planting round the coastal margins of Orkney and took a much welcomed break in the weather to visit one of the local beaches.

Tonight's Meditation
The focus for tonight's Crystal Earth Meditation, Wednesday 31st August 2011 is:
'To send strength, healing and positive connections to all in distress across the Globe'.
This meditation will use the snow quartz cairn and connected crystals here at Old Nisthouse, Harray, Orkney as a focus. The cairn is shown in the image below.
Thank you for your connection and please feel free to connect to the image of this cairn to help lands, people, animals, or plants in difficulty at any time. The cairn and crystals beneath are programed to work constantly in this way, for the greater good of all, as we travel through increasingly turbulent times on our journey into the Aquarian age and are meditated with daily where possible.

For peace in the Middle East
There are crystals set up in the garden here at Old Nisthouse working constantly to send peace and healing to the lands and people of the Middle East at this time of unrest. Please send prayers and spend a few moments sending positive thoughts to this area of our globe when ever you are able to - the image below of the snow quartz crystal cairn here can be used as a positive focus.

Final Crystal Planting Opportunities 2010
As the snow melts, here in Orkney, crystal planting opportunities before the end of the year are once more opening up as we can finally travel further than walking distance from the house! If you are on the East coast of America snow and ice may be making this a little more challenging. One or two keen crystal planters have taken off to warmer climes to mark the end of the year - Majorca, Uganda and Goa.

Crystal Planting In The Ice and Snow
In light of the recent wintry weather in the UK I have had one or two enquiries about how to go about planting crystals in the depths of winter. As might be expected, there are no hard and fast rules.
If you can dig down through deep snow and the ground is not frozen, then it might be hard work but possible. A stone or small pile of stones can be used to cover crystals where the ground is frozen and the crystals can then be dug in later, if you feel the crystals so placed will be vulnerable to disturbance left like this on a long term basis. If you live in an area with dry stone walls these can also be very handy for placing smaller crystals.
If you can't actually access the site of planting because of snow and ice, as has happened to me over the last few weeks in Orkney, then temporary placement ready for transfer to the required planting is an option for certain types of planting. Alternatively, you may just have to be patient and wait until the weather improves.
If you live somewhere like Canada or Alaska then Spring, Summer and Autumn may be your best times to crystal plant and the Winter used to plan trips for warmer, less frozen times!
