Aqua aura quartz crystals are clear/cloudy crystals which have been enhanced with pure gold; the molecules of pure gold adhere to the natural electric charge which surrounds the quartz crystal, and cannot removed by rubbing or by scraping. Yes the energy of all aura crystals is intense through the nature of the their formation and combination of energies.The healing focus of auqa aura crystals is to veil higher, purer energy.This energy and vibrancy is put to great use in this planting project with the crystals being programmed to enable the bearer or place of planting greater connection to this 'spiritual' energy. With their intense blue vibration, Aqua Aura, as Melody writes has a natural resonance to the energy of the throat in purity although I would personally use Lapis Lazuli or Turquiose to bring about a more gentler healing to this sensitive area of the body.
