Uses of Amethyst

I have had some enquiries recently about the uses of amethyst, given the new amethyst cairn here at the Crystal Earthworks base. As with all crystals the energy resonance of amethyst is very specific but this resonance can be put to different uses depending on its programming.

Amethyst is a very good absorber of negative energy, bringing positive transformation and in this way can be used as a protective amulet against negative environmental energies, to bring about positive change to an area of negative energy, to act to form a protective circuit to a home school or workplace, to contain the negative energy of landfill sites/recycling areas or in combination with rose quartz to bring about healing to areas of environmental disaster.

It is also a useful crystal to absorb negative energy from the body and energy field during and after illness and to encourage spiritual connection by easing emotional blocks to such connection - hence the cairn!

It is a truly beautiful and powerful crystal in which ever shape, form or colouration it occurs and is an invaluable addition to the crystal toolbox in our current turbulent and challenging times.

Tonight's Meditation / World Earth Day

To mark World Earth Day, which was this week, 22nd April 2014, tonight's meditation will use a Pure Earth, set as shown below, with the focus:

'To bring healing to the Earth and her inhabitants.'

Pure Earth Set

The Pure Earth Set combines a Pure Grace Heart with four rubies.
It is a configuration to bring healing to the lands, earth and inhabitants of its place of planting, promoting the flow of physical and emotional nourishment, sustenance and abundance.
It can be planted to promote and sustain soil fertility, placed to areas of deprivation and poverty and has both rural and urban applications.

Peace at Easter and Beyond

Thank you to all those who focused on peace this Easter. We had crystals set here in Orkney with a  focus on peace for all those in distress across the globe but unfortunately I wasn't able to post this on the blog. The cairn here at Old Nisthouse will continue to be programmed in this way for the next three weeks so please feel free to connect in where ever you can through positive thought, meditation or prayer.

The meditation focus for tonight, 17th April 2014, through 8 pm GMT, is to help bees, using a Pure Strength Set and amber, with the focus:

"To send strength to bees across the globe."

Please use the image of the crystals below as a positive visualisation. This meditation is repeated monthly, throughout the year.

This crystal configuration is also good for crystal planting for bees. It may be placed at the site of a hive or hives, amongst flowering plants in the garden or to areas of meadow land, in particular those  specially planted for bees.

The crystal cairn, here at Old Nisthouse in Orkney, is currently programmed to help all in distress across the globe, with particular reference to the people and lands of the Ukraine and Syria, those who have loved ones missing on flight MH370 and the residents of Oso USA, and their families and friends. Please simply spend a few moments at any time of day or night visualising the cairn, and sending positive thoughts and prayers to those in need, to empower this healing focus. The cairn will also be the focus for next weeks Crystal Earth Meditation.

Meditation to Heal The Earth's Energy Field

The focus of tonight's Crystal Earth Meditation, Thursday 27th March, 2014, through 8pm GMT is :

'To heal the aura of the Earth, repairing tears to her energy and bringing greater peace, flow and harmony to Mother Earth and all her inhabitants.'

This meditation will use chrysocolla malachite and rose quartz crystals, and is being repeated monthly throughout 2014. As a positive focus please imagine the Earth as a chrysocolla malachite orb, with rose quartz above below and to either side. An image of these types of crystals is shown below. Thank you, once again, for your connection and help, in healing our beautiful, yet energy challenged planet.

Revitalised Crystal

I recently found this beautiful amethyst bed whilst beginning the annual spring clean of the garden here at Old Nisthouse, Orkney. I had placed the crystal outside at the beginning of the winter to see if it had done its job and would disappear or if it simply needed recharging as it had been in use a long time and was looking very tired and jaded. I found it where I had left it but looking sparkly and revitalised and is back in use in the house.

World Water Day Crystal Focus

In celebration of World Water day and the sixth anniversary of our  focused crystal planting work in connection to global waters, there will be a Pure Source Set (see previous posting) opened for 24hrs from 6am on the 22nd March 2014. Please feel free to connect to these crystals in positive thought, meditation or prayer with a focus to healing the waters of the Earth.

World Water Day

Saturday 22nd March marks World Water day 2014 and the anniversary of the launch, six years ago, of the Community Crystal Planting Project:

'Waters of Pure Grace'

This project embodies the use of three specially programmed crystal planting configurations to help heal the waters of our energy challenged planet. These crystal sets offer a unique opportunity for anyone across the globe to plant crystals to heal areas of pollution, stagnation and trauma in connection to water.

The crystal planting sets are:

Pure Source
This set is composed of one Pure Grace Heart, one aqua aura and one amethyst, specially programmed together to cleanse planetary waters of physical and emotional pollution bringing healing and returning balance and flow.
Suitable sites of planting include: source of a river, spring, sacred places in connection to water e.g. wells, lakes.

Pure Flow
This set is composed of one Pure Grace Heart and four amethyst, specially programmed together to absorb and transmute held negativity bringing healing and returning purity and flow.
Suitable sites of planting include: any stagnant area of water e.g.lake, pond, well, marsh.

Pure Peace
This set is composed of one Pure Grace Heart and four rose quartz, specially programmed to heal trauma in connection to water.
Suitable sites of planting include: areas of flooding - e.g sites of tsunamis and river flood plains, sites of ship wrecks and loss of life, old whaling ports, sites of destruction of marine or freshwater life.

Global Coastal Hearts
These Pure grace Hearts, launched in 2010, are specially programmed to bring purity, strength and positive flow to the coastal waters to which they are placed and all life forms inhabiting those waters.
The crystals work to bring cleansing and balance to the planets water and all life streams with connection to it, helping to return all to purity, flow and heart connection whilst adding to a growing global network of light as we move forwards within a new planetary cycle of energy.

Each crystal, or crystal set, includes full instructions for planting - no previous experience is required.

A good number of these crystals and crystal sets have been planted across the globe over the last five years and we hope you feel able to join us in crystal planting more of these configurations in the year to come, bringing greater peace, harmony and flow to all.

'May the waters of the Earth flow once more in purity, returning peace and harmony to bring grace to all'
