Bag The Bruck

Bruck collected Birsay, Orkney

It was 'Bag The Bruck' weekend here in Orkney. This is where the council provides bags and gloves to willing volunteers to collect any rubbish brought onto the beaches or blown around the islands during the winter storms and gales.

Plastic items in the Bruck

We have helped down at Birsay, on             mainland Orkney each year we have been here, and it is always a sobering experience. The beaches here are mainly pristine, and few locals or visitors drop litter, yet there is always a wealth of rubbish to collect on this weekend. It is all brought in by the sea, but ultimately deposited by one of us somewhere on the planet. The amount of plastic is always depressing. I picked up only one item out of three bin bags full that was not plastic in some shape or form and this is all floating around our oceans!

Hopefully the pictures here will help remind us all of the beauty and natural harmony of our planet, and of how we, collectively, need to help our seas. So how can each of us help to reduce this oceanic pollution? Its simple, reduce our use of plastics, recycle, bin litter and Bag The Bruck!

Easter Break Here In Orkney

Some inspiring images of the recent Easter break here in Orkney.

Thank you!

Many thanks to those of you who have recently sent in articles and magazines about environmental issues - its always really useful to hear about areas where crystal planting or focused healing meditations are required. Keep in touch!

Rose quartz planting for fish

We have just created a new pond out of an old whiskey barrel for our goldfish, which have grown far too big for their tank. I placed a rose quartz crystal in it this afternoon, programmed to bring the fish peace, healing and physical and energetic well being. This crystal will largely be cleansed by the elements but is best removed and rinsed with fresh water every three months to help cleanse and replenish its energy.

Meditation Tonight and Next Wednesday

Thank you to all those of you who joined in with our Easter Meditations.

The focus for our regular Wednesday meditation, tonight, and next week, through 8pm GMT, is:

'For peace across the Globe.'

These meditations will use a heart shaped chunk of rose quartz, as shown below. Hope you are able to connect in.

Easter Meditations

There will be special meditations for Easter through 3pm on Good Friday and 12pm Easter Sunday. Focus for both days is:

'To strengthen all to heart connection'

using the combination of crystals below.

As Easter Sunday is also the last day of the month a twelve point aura star, shown below will also be set up for 24 hours from 6am that day with the focus:

'To align all spiritually, creatively and in wisdom for the greater good'

Please feel free to connect into the this configuration at any time over its period of opening from where ever you are based.

World Water Day

Today is World Water day 2013 and the anniversary of the launch, five years ago, of the Community Crystal Planting Project:

'Waters of Pure Grace'

This project embodies the use of three specially programmed crystal planting configurations to help heal the waters of our energy challenged planet. These crystal sets offer a unique opportunity for anyone across the globe to plant crystals to heal areas of pollution, stagnation and trauma in connection to water.

The crystal planting sets are:

Pure Source
This set is composed of one Pure Grace Heart, one aqua aura and one amethyst, specially programmed together to cleanse planetary waters of physical and emotional pollution bringing healing and returning balance and flow.
Suitable sites of planting include: source of a river, spring, sacred places in connection to water e.g. wells, lakes.

Pure Flow
This set is composed of one Pure Grace Heart and four amethyst, specially programmed together to absorb and transmute held negativity bringing healing and returning purity and flow.
Suitable sites of planting include: any stagnant area of water e.g.lake, pond, well, marsh.

Pure Peace
This set is composed of one Pure Grace Heart and four rose quartz, specially programmed to heal trauma in connection to water.
Suitable sites of planting include: areas of flooding - e.g sites of tsunamis and river flood plains, sites of ship wrecks and loss of life, old whaling ports, sites of destruction of marine or freshwater life.

Global Coastal Hearts
These Pure grace Hearts, launched in 2010, are specially programmed to bring purity, strength and positive flow to the coastal waters to which they are placed and all life forms inhabiting those waters.
The crystals work to bring cleansing and balance to the planets water and all life streams with connection to it, helping to return all to purity, flow and heart connection whilst adding to a growing global network of light as we move forwards within a new planetary cycle of energy.

Each crystal, or crystal set, includes full instructions for planting - no previous experience is required.

A good number of these crystals and crystal sets have been planted across the globe over the last five years and we hope you feel able to join us in crystal planting more of these configurations in the year to come, bringing greater peace, harmony and flow to all.

'May the waters of the Earth flow once more in purity, returning peace and harmony to bring grace to all'

Mobile Phone Mast Planting

I have recently had the gift of starting working in a beautiful holistic therapy centre in Kirkwall, Orkney. On one of my first visits there, the owner showed me a mobile phone mast which had been put up within a few feet of the grounds of the clinic, and said she was conecerned about the energy coming off this mast. I offered to plant a programmed fist sized pyrite next to the mast in order to negate this energy. It also felt right  to plant the site with programmed amethyst to the four corners for protection against negative environmental energies. The latter normally isn't necessary, in combination with the pyrite placement, but I realised when I was planting the area, that there is a further  mobile phone mast and a small substation both within a short distance of the clinic.

I completed the crystal planting a couple of weeks ago and the energy immediately felt much lighter and freer. The owner can also feel the difference and is delighted that her dowsing rods, which, prior to the placing of the crystals had shown marked movement in the direction of the mobile phone mast, now show no reaction at all.

Website Reminder

I picked up an email yesterday regarding the projects website. This is just a reminder that I am currently unable to access the site to update it and certain links such as the shop are inaccessible. I am currently working on new site and hoping to find a way to take the old site down shortly so there is no further confusion. The Crystal Earthworks email is still working for incoming mail so do use it to get in touch and I will then reply with a temporary email to use. All a bit messy I know but I am afraid I am not very technologically minded and have not found anyone here in Orkney to help with this side of things yet!

Beautiful Weather

We are having stunning weather here in Orkney - frosty overnight and beautiful during the day!

Some one was asking me if there was a suitable crystal to plant near to a Community Hall to encourage greater creativity. Specially programmed Tanzine Aura is ideal for this - see the Aura Planting Projects page of this Blog for further details and happy planting!

Stormy Seas

There have been wild and stormy seas here in Orkney over the last week, the biggest wave recorded being 64 feet! That's big even by Orkney standards. We had a few empty food shelves for a while, with no ferries for a couple of days but things have calmed down now.

Crystal Clear

Wrote the final words for the Crystal Earthwork's forthcoming book "Crystal Clear' yesterday. Feels amazing after almost seven years of work - just the formatting and illustrations to go!
